Question MSI Z87-G55 compatible RAM?

Hello,
I am upgrading the RAM on my computer and I'm confused about what can I buy. MSI's compatible cards list has been updated in 2014 so most of the models are unavailable/undesirable. So can I any DDR3 2x8gb (preferably 2400 Mhz) RAM-sticks if i'm completely replacing the old memory. Do I need to overclock something (the mobo?) to get to those speeds since on its spec sheet it supports speeds up to 3000 Mhz OC?

Any DDR3 2400-2666Mhz should work just dont mix and match and you will be fine
