Hey,

I jist got my new PC with MSI Z890 Tomahawk and Core Ultra 7 265KF working. Due to the microcode updates I wanted to flash bios. So, downloaded the most recent version for that board, put it on a FAT32 thumbdrive, renamed it to MSI.ROM and put it in the corresponding port.

Once PC powered down, I pressed the button and a white LED started flashing slowly and then fast. After a bit, the PC turned on, all fans came to life and a very annoying alarm sound (BIOS beeper?) started sounding. Since the same was still going on after 15 - 20 minutes, I powered down (since that sound was so annoying) and I thought maybe another drive would do better. The LED was still blinking fast when powering down.

Now I can't turn on the PC by using the power button and Flash Bios only repeats everything, including the annoying beep sound.
Did the Mainboard break down for some reason?
A Debug led is red and the debug number is --.

Edit: When using BIOS Flash, it still turns on...

7E32v1A7 is the BIOS version on the USB stick. I also pressed the "Clear CMOS" button for a couple seconds, but to no avail. The annoying thing and reason for aborting it was the constant beeping noise coming from the Mainboard and since it was late at night it disturbed other people. Currently, I try to flash it again and plan to leave it running for a while, since nobody will be disturbed from the noise.
And yes, I did follow the instructions, but with components installed. The part where the PSU clicks off doesn't happen for me...
