Hello I have been experiencing a problem with my ethernet connection. I've had the pc for 2 days, worked perfectly 1st day and then second day my pc says no internet connection. It happend when i installed msi afterburner(not sure if that affected anything). The Internet works fine as I have tried switching pcs with a success. It's windows 10. I did a windows diagnosis and it says problem with ethernet adapter driver. I have tried reinstalling the driver for ethernet (killer something forgot the name) with no sucess. Please help me, I just built this pc but can't even utilize it. Thank you

Probably Windows 10 drivers, go grab the latest driver from the manufacturer's website and it should work fine.

I had a similar problem in that the included Intel ethernet driver with Windows 10 did not work. I even had to manually uninstall it to successfully install a driver from ASUS, though I could have also got it from Intel.

Might also check the Killer website.

The drivers on the disc are almost certainly out of date. I suspect they were working and then Windows 10 update (particularly home edition, since it doesn't ask) replaced it with the driver MS thinks works. They are often wrong when it comes to non-OEM computers

You would download the files from the manufacturer and install them like any other program. If for some reason it doesn't work that way, you can extract the files, launch device manager, locate the ethernet adapter driver, click 'update driver' and point it to the folder with the extracted files.
