MSI Z97 Gaming 3 wont boot to UEFI BIOS

Hi, I am having some issues trying to boot into the UEFI BIOS on my MSI motherboard. I have tried everything but it only boots into the BIOS after I re-flash it every time or just not use fastboot.

I am using Windows 8.1 64bit and have fastboot enabled so to boot into the UEFI I have to use the MSI Go2Bios app but when I use this it just has a blank screen but everything sounds like it's working.

As always any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you update your bios on latest version? Or your Go2Bios is the latest version?

Hi, sorry I completely forgot. I have actually fixed it!!!

You need to boot the PC into BIOS without the CMOS battery then turn it off and put the battery in and boot back into the BIOS, that appears to rectify the issue.

In short DO NOT upgrade using the OS utility
