Computer boots to windows just fine, but when I try to access the bios it cuts the monitor signal and just sits. Hoping that a Bios update would fix the problem, I gave in and used the MSI update program to flash the bios without any change. I've tried plugging the monitor into both of my video cards, and my integrated graphics without any luck. I've also tried clearing CMOS and and using the go2bios feature to access the bios. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, because I have no idea what it does, but the Intel management engine shows that it won't start under device manager (code 10)

Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5
CPU: Intel i5-4690K
Video Card: 2x MSI AMD R7 260 OC

That's what I'm about to start working on trying. I went ahead and tried to update my VGA drivers for the board, but it says I don't meet minimum system requirements, the integrated graphics through my processor doesn't show up in Device manager at all either. Still, I'm gonna give it a try.

I'm well aware of the fact that the drivers shouldn't affect it. It was still strange for WINDOWS to not recognize that I even had integrated graphics and was working towards a solution to that problem at least, even if it didn't solve the bios issue. If nothing else I figured the integrated graphics not working at all could hint at motherboard issues related to the problem.

Now, back to the problem at hand. I have no adapters attached to my cable. On a happy side note, without the discrete video cards in, windows at least let me install the proper drivers. Still no bios access without the discrete cards in though.

Hello... 1) What is your BIO's set for IGT/PCIe/BOTH? have you enabled shared memory for the IGT to use?
2) You want to always have only one device type installed/enabled before loading any drivers in Windows... Confusion and problems can occur.
3) Get the proper drivers download and remove/Start over the driver installs if you still have problems, using Control Panel-Programs and settings... Re-Boot after each change.
4) There are addition drivers/procedures, too install, when there are Digital/audio outputs included with those HDMI devices.

1.) I reset the bios settings with the CMOS jumper, since I can't access the settings, I'm guessing whatever default is. Integrated graphics wasn't registering at the time, so it probably was set to PCIe. With the discrete video cards out it would have defaulted to integrated, now that I've put them back in, I'm assuming it's defaulted back to PCIe because integrated graphics don't show up in the device manager anymore. No way of actually checking in the Bios, because it still freezes on a black screen every time I try to access it.
2.) It's hard to enable or disable anything through the bios when I don't have access to it.
3.) I already stated in my previous post that I was able to successfully download and install the most up to date drivers for the integrated graphics with the dedicated cards out.
