msi z97 gaming 5 fans

hi,i have the z97 gaming 5 from msi, and i was wondering if sys fan should always be running at 50% or 100%,my understanding has that it should always be at 100% for cooling,but either way i keep changing the settings for the fan controls because it will never stay or save the changes i made, i do the changes on the msi command center prog. that came with the motherboard.

You can make a custom fan curve in the bios. You don't need to run your fans at 100% you rig is doing some demanding task.

its always at 50%,but someone told me that while playing some games its best to have then at 100%, right now they stay at 50% all the time,even when i make the changes it always go back to 50%...

whats the normal idle temp and gaming for the cpu?

The fan speeds to should be dependent on your Temps. Your don't need them to be running at 50% at all times.
