Msi z97 gaming 5 GPU issue

So out of no where my pc went to no signal now my msi gtx 970 stopped showing display over hdmi not sure why I got no other monitors to test then my tv. I have checked my ram not an issue checked all my cables not an issue I am using the integrated graphics on my core i5 4690 to write this I got 16 gb of ram.
My power supply is a 600b Evga power supply

When I plugin the gpu and turn on my pc the gpu turns on but no picture is outputted over HDMI I am not sure if my GPU is broken or my motherboard as my mobo auto detects the GPU but just no display coming out of it I have only had the GPU since march so don't want to be out $550.00 Canadian does anyone know what I can do to test it I do not own any other mobo/gpu or extra power supplies.

Did a search but none of the posts ive found helps me so I am not sure what it would be

Can you test with something different form HDMI? Use DP or DVI.

I currently have no dvi cables right now but I could try and get some tomorrow I was wondering could it be something with my 39 inch insignia tv trying to auto detect the hdmi imput or?

I have no idea how your setup goes, that's why I would personally test it with a different cable.

Yeah thing is it might be your TV. You have to try with a different cable and a different monitor to be sure what the problem is.

Just tested my android box and my tv detects the HDMI when the GPU is on it detects the HDMI but no signal comes from the gpu.

Then next step is to test with something different from an HDMI to find out if it's a port problem or the GPU is toast.

my box works on the 2 hdmi ports so card might be toast although the msi board detects the gpu as being in

well, try with DVI or D-port, maybe that is your GPU hdmi issue

Great to hear then, congratulations. Also the 970 might be still in warranty so you might RMA it.

I have a similar set up, similar problem.
Onboard VGA and DVI output video.
Onboard HDMI does not output video.
Gpu DVI outputs video.
You HDMI does not output video.

I don't think it's the GPU card but perhaps the MSI gaming 5 mobo.
I'm testing the display port tonight using a dp to hdmi adapter.
