My PC is old and so I brought 3 new parts:
MSI z97 gaming 5
Evga gtx 970
I5 4690k

Old parts:
Cx 750 bronze power supply
XFX Radeon HD 4850
AMD Athlon II X3 450 tri-core3.2ghz
MSI 870-G45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX

The problem is that the display won't show, the fan and lights running normal the post card show 33, 62 after few attempts.

I tested my graphic card and it work fine on another PC but when I test another graphic card same model into my PC it resulted the same problem. I also tested my ram with each one and nothing wrong.

I thought it was my mobo, so I replace mine with another one same motherboard model, this time when I start my PC it would reboot once and the postcard show 26.

In the first model msi z97, The display monitor would start to work when i plug in the monitor wire into the motherboard and use the motherboard integrated graphic card instead. In the bios it say my graphic card slot is empty even though it's connected.

Pls help 1st time building PC
I'm thinking it that it might be my psu but compare to my other part it's still quite new.

If not working with cables do this.

1. Shutdown your pc
2. Switch off the power supply from the back
3. Remove power cable from the power supply
4. Open your case and remove the RAMs
5. Put the power supply cable back in
6. Switch on power supply
7. Wait for 10 minutes with out RAMs. DONT TURN ON THE PC, Only let it on power for 10 minutes.
8. After 10 min switch power supply off
9. Open case and put the RAMs again into the motherboard (slot 1,3 or 2,4)
10. Switch on the power supply and turn the pc on.

This is a procedure that we technicians do to clean "old profiles". This happens if you install a new component and you didn't uninstalled previous drivers and stuck at black screen.

Did you connect the power connectors?
The video card needs both power plugs inserted to be able to be recognized by the mobo.
