MSI z97 gaming 5 not booting up after bios update

i need help. my pc was doing fine until i updated the bios and drivers.
now it can't even boot to bios. can't see or do anything .
tried to repair my self by some doing some research,
resetting the cmos and removing the battery but no luck until now.

my situation is similar to this video.

yes it did. i can even boot up and play game after the update for a while.

Try removing the graphics card, leaving single RAM module installed, connecting the monitor to the onboard and see if booting.
Test each RAM module.

thank for your help bro. it boots up nice now. but only when i'm not using dual memory.
tested the ram modules, both ok.
its just that DIMM 3 and 4 not working.
is it possible that DIMM 3 , which i had never used before, to get damaged?

update- now i am using dimm 1 and 2 . not dual channel but it can boot up.

It's weird that a BIOS update would cause RAM slots to not work.
If leaving single RAM module installed in slot 3, does the board boot? What about slot 4?

single ram on both DIM 3, 4 each time does not work either .
btw. i updated tons of drivers, utilities + bios update that day. via msi liveupdate.

also about a week earlier, i replaced the stock cpu cooler.
but it was only after like 6 days after replacing cooler, a day after the bios update and stuff , that i had this problem.

But it's up and running now so thank you for your great help.
Also looking forward to a solution for the dimms.

You're welcome. It might be a CPU socket bent pins issue. You can try removing the CPU and checking the socket.

yup. have read that. but if it is bent, would it take like a week for the dimms to get those problems? wouldn't it be immediate?

It depends. A faulty contact might manifest after a while. You can leave it like that, or try checking the socket. If deciding to remove the CPU cooler, do it carefully, as it might be stuck to the CPU due to the thermal paste.
