Heya team,

Sincere apologies if this has been asked and answered in other threads or forums, but had no joy with the d/l manual or the internets. My head's gone mushy, so taking the easy way out and going to bed...

Maybe a silly question, but I haven't built a rig for a looong time - Anyone know if PCIE slots 2 & 6 can be used for spaced SLI in the G9, or am I limited to 2 & 4 only? Would love to have more clearance available, if possible.

Cheers,
Daece

My bad there, the board doesn't support 3 way SLI since it doesn't have a multiplier chip, that was stupid of me, read 3 way CFX and SLI as '3 way CFX and 3 way SLI'.

Yes, SLI requires atleast x8 bandwidth. The concerned board sadly doesn't have that bandwidth on all 3 slots, so the last will definately have only x4 lanes wired to it, therefore you're tied to 2nd and 4th slots for SLI.

I believe 3-way crossfire is possible, but only 2-way SLI, so unsure what impact this has on whether it can only do x16x0x0, x8x8x0 or x8x4x4 as opposed to x8x0x8
