Hi
Im going to build an extremely budget minded pc using core i5 4460.
So there is no overclocking what so ever. So is msi z97 guard-pro any good. The thing i hate about it is that it only has 6 screw holes which may become (at best) not pleasant during connection 24 pin power cable. What are better alternatives? Keep in mind that it should have at least 3 four pin fan headers for case fans(!) and it should be same or cheaper and not even a dollar more. And only "z97".

Tnx in advance!

I found some for you, and because your cpu is the non-K i5 4460, you can use the H97 MB too. Like ASUS H97-PRO GAMER http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H97PRO_GAMER/

But you want the Z97 only, so here is list
GA-Z97X-SLI http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4957#ov
ASUS Z97-PRO GAMER http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97PRO_GAMER/specifications/
ASUS GRYPHON Z97 http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/GRYPHON_Z97/gallery/
GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4979#ov
MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z97S-SLI-Krait-Edition.html#hero-specification

I would've gone for H97 but it doesn't support RAM speeds more than 1600. that's the only reason to choose Z97 instead of H97.
while thanking you for your suggestions the budget of this build "cant" afford any of MoBos you mentioned... even the H97 you mentioned is more!!! but man that MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition looks amazing. :(
Anyways Tnx!
