Msi z97 sli krait edition hangs on a2

Hey guys,
My computer gets hung up on an a2 error which is displayed on the lower right hand corner. This only happens when my periferals are plugged in(rat 3 gaming mouse, cm storm quickfire xt). When unplugged, the computer works fine. Ive tried to update the bios for the motherboard and still no luck.

What should i do?

hi the A2 error is related to the detection of your drives, i would reset the bios to defaults and then make sure your hdds and optical drives are all plugged in in the correct order, eg first boot drive in sata-0 etc, then disable any other drives/devices that you don't want to boot from.

On msi motherboards, how do you disable drivers that you dont want to boot from?

On msi motherboards in the hard drive boot BBS option it detects the two drives and out of the two you can prioritize the one you want to boot from.

On msi motherboards in the hard drive boot BBS option it detects the two drives and out of the two you can prioritize the one you want to boot from.

go into the bois boot list and the disable 2nd 3rd etc boot devices.. what you could also do is unplug everything except the boot drive to start with and c if that helps

Well now if i just leave my computer overnight it just gets hung on a2 but then after restarting it works normally for most of the day 😛

yes. I updated it and it still have this problem
