MSI Z97 U3 PLUS Compatibility Questions

I recently purchased a MSI Z97 U3 PLUS LGA 1150, hoping to use my i7 3820 along with it. However, I noticed that the LGAs were different. The MSI mobo is LGA 1150, and the CPU is LGA 2011. I know this may be a stupid question, but, are they compatible? Or do I need to buy a different board?
