MSI Z97M Debug LED 03

My new build powers on but it will not load bios i keep getting a code 03 on the debug led, the manual says its power on north bridge initialization, Please help

03 error code is for the North Bridge initialization before microcode loading. ( 08 is the after loading )

And the northbridge has other name "memory controller hub" that is related the RAM, cpu, graphics bus. So you should check the 1) Check the CPU or RAM is compatible or not. 2) Reset the cpu, RAM, or GPU etc. but check the RAM first. 3) if all don't work, use only one stick RAM to boot the PC, or move the RAM in other slot, etc.

i have the same issue. i just installed a new GPU so its most likely. how do i reset it?

Have the same problem with the MSI z97 Gaming 7. Having the dubug code 3 before my system reboots itself after just seconds being turned on. I found out, that using only 1 stick of RAM in my DIMM2 would allow the computer to turn on again. If i ever plug more than 1 stick in the MOBO, i keep getting the mentioned error (got 4 x 4gb sticks).

ANyone knows what to do?

Make sure the MB does not have the bent pin.
1) Using one stick RAM to boot the PC, update the chipset driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775 even the BIOS.
2) After that, add other RAM one by one to test, or install the RAM in other slot.
3) Or using the XMP profile in the BIOS.
4) If you still have problem, try manual set the timing in the BIOS. If you still have problem, that means the RAM does not compatible.
