The manufacturer rates 2TB version of its Spatium M570 HS for up to 10TB/s sequential read and write speed as well as random read/write speeds of up to 1.4M/1.5M 4K IOPS.

Title confused me, the backup capabilitiy is bundled back up software... Actiphy software solution
With so many competent free solutions, I don't understand this as a key differentiator, and as such the article appears to be more of an advertisement than actually a newsworthy article.

It does not matter no one wants such a slow drive

it has lower performance and will only offer up to 10GB/s sequential read/write speeds
