Would you touch the aluminum part of the keyboard though? Or just the plastic keys?

The picture shows that the bottom edge of the keyboard, especially on the right side, can easily be touched if you move your hand down slightly. Having already tried an aluminum keyboard with the Cherry MX 10.0N I would never consider or recommend another.

This is a nicely priced keyboard and I like that it's quiet. The static concern with the aluminium does sound like a big deal but I have hard floors and a humidifier and haven't felt static shock in a while even though it's January.

But my (apparently much-hated) Logitech Romer G keyboard is only aluminated on the letters and doesn't have light spilling out under the keys. I think I'd rather have a non-illuminated keyboard than one illuminated under the keys. So I'll be sticking with what I have.
