mSSD & 2.5 SSD & HDD (external usb 3.0)

Okay coz me researching this always ends up taking hours of filtering thru multiple websites and forums by the time ive realized ive strayed off topic like im about to so guna shut up and jst ask...anyway i have a 256gb mssd aswel as 2.5" ssd wich contains OS and primary partition. Will running OS on mssd and having c: programs n * on 2.5"ssd make any difference? Storage not an issue as movies and music are on external hdd. Simply do i re-download windows (Australia internet speed) so it can b installed on mssd or jst leave it to continue doing nothing as system performace/speed already cant b greater as ive replaced hdd with ssd anyway

OK, an mSATA.
+ 2.5" SATA + USB HDD.

Having the OS and applications on one, and other stuff on other drives is not a problem or performance hit.
The only performance issue might be things on the external drive. But movies and music don't care about that.
