MSVCP140.dll is missing

MSVCP140.dll is missing - this kept appearing not just in one program but like 4 or more?
This appeared after I installed a new windows 7

Tried:
Install Vicrosoft visual C++ 2017 Redistributable x64
Install Vicrosoft visual C++ 2015 Redistributable x64

there is a high likelihood that if the programs are 32 bit, they require 32 bit version of visual C++

As far as I know you can fix the MSVCP140.dll is missing error by replacing it with a new dll file. I have been playing with dll files since a week now and I found this site https://dlldownloads.com/msvcp140-dll/ is reliable for downloading dll files.
