I'm updating my system gaming system and would love your input.

I'm in Australia and my price range is about 1400AU (about 1300USD). I can stretch by about 50 dollars if necessary. I'm doing most of my purchasing from http://www.pccasegear.com so availability there is strongly preferred but not necessary.

The system will replace my current ageing system which will mostly be used for the latest and greatest gaming, so future proofing for another 4+ years would be fantastic.

I plan to keep most of my peripherals from the old system, including the 2 monitors I'm currently running.

So, onwards to the build (In AUD):

Corsair CMX8GX3M2B1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 $89.00
Samsung 840 Series 250GB SSD Retail Box $189.00
Antec Three Hundred Two AB Case $85.00
Intel Core i5 4670 $249.00
ASRock Z87-PRO4 Motherboard $145.00
Antec High Current Gamer 620W Modular HCG-620M $115.00
MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming Edition 2GB $499.00
Total: $1371.00

And for those who like pictures:

A few additional notes:
I am completely unconcerned with case aesthetics.
Is there any reason to go an i7 over an i5? Is it worth the extra cost?
I don't know if I really need a $145 motherboard.
I am bringing the HDD over from my old system.

Thankyou in advance for your time, you are a wonderful person. :D

Solution
A very nice build.
here are some thoughts:

1. Few games use more than 2-3 cores, so a i7 with extra hyperthreads is not much worth it. But, a 4670K for $25 more is very much worth it. A Z87 motherboard allows you overclocking of a Z cpu. increasing the multiplier from the stock 34 to 40 or so is a nice return for that $25. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=187_1490&products_id=23495
2. The stock cooler can get noisy under load. I might suggest a cm hyper 212 for $39: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_23&products_id=18670
3. If you were not overclocking, then a cheaper B85 motherboard would be fine. If you go with a 4670K, then most any Z87 motherboard will...

4. GTX770 is a fine card. I might prefer one with a stock direct exhaust blower type cooler. It gets the heat out the back of the case quicker. Here is one for a bit less: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193_1486&products_id=23787
5. You might look into the Corsair VS650 psu @$75. Corsair is generally a good value psu brand, and this is a 220-240v only psu. I think that works in aus. You will need a 6 pin and a 8 pin pcie power lead, but I can not verify that this particular psu has that. I would be very surprised if it did not have two 6+2 connectors:

Update-- it does have two 6+2 connectors: http://www.hitechreview.com/it-products/pc/corsair-releases-budget-oriented-power-supply-units/40975/
6. I love the Samsung ssd. don't let anybody talk you out of it.
7. This 8gb corsair kit is a tad cheaper: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_538_913&products_id=18373
8. I like the 300 - 2 case.
