Is it true there is a mudcrab salesman with a lot of gold somewhere near
vivec?
If it's true, where can I find it? is it better than creeper skamp?

Yes, the mudcrab merchant operates just like Creeper, but
has 10,000 gold. His tiny island is just a short hop from
the island where the Mzahnch ruins are located. This is
actually much closer to Suran than to Vivec. The Mzahnch
ruins are visible on the paper map that came with the
original game. If you don't have such a map, you can still
easily find the mudcrab by heading south out of Suran and
until you've gone as far south as you can go and the coast
bends to the east. From that point, head due south across
the water, either waterwalk, fly or swim until you reach
Mzahnch. Then skirt the coast of this island to it's
southeast tip. Mudcrab's island is about 10 feet away.

He is on a little island near Mzahnch. Not sure exactly where as I
hardly ever go there. He has more money (10000 gold), but trades for
fewer types of items. Does trade for weapons and armor, however. The
Creeper is much more convenient as he is near rapid transit.

If you have good speechcraft and personality, you can get better
deals from the regular merchants. Yes, they pay less than list.
However, you can repeatedly buy and sell the same item(s) until you
have all their cash.

alternatively, since enchantments are the only thing you can spend
a lot on, just leave your goodies near your favorite enchanter and sell
them after you've paid for an enchantement (when they have money). Make
sure you bargain first, however, to set the daily reset on their gold.

Those are good directions Briarroot!

AseStar, Keep in mind that the Mudcrab merchant is identified as a
Mudcrab, even if you use a detect Creature spell/item, he'll show up on
your map as Hostle (a red circle) even though he Really ISN'T! So make
sure that you walk up to him and try talking to him instead of attacking
him. And if you accidently try talking to a normal Hostle mudcrab by
mistake, considering how quick and dangerous mudcrabs are I'm pretty
sure that your character will SOMEHOW survive the encounter. <L>

Once you find the Mudcrab merchants island, since it's abit off the
beaten path, you might want to cast a Mark spell to make it easier for
your character to get back to him to sell stuff. You might also
consider dropping some surplus lanterns and/or torches on top of the
rocks around the island to make it easier to be seen from a distance...

That's my 2¢,

Does he buy charged soul gems?
