Those are good directions Briarroot!
AseStar, Keep in mind that the Mudcrab merchant is identified as a
Mudcrab, even if you use a detect Creature spell/item, he'll show up on
your map as Hostle (a red circle) even though he Really ISN'T! So make
sure that you walk up to him and try talking to him instead of attacking
him. And if you accidently try talking to a normal Hostle mudcrab by
mistake, considering how quick and dangerous mudcrabs are I'm pretty
sure that your character will SOMEHOW survive the encounter. <L>
Once you find the Mudcrab merchants island, since it's abit off the
beaten path, you might want to cast a Mark spell to make it easier for
your character to get back to him to sell stuff. You might also
consider dropping some surplus lanterns and/or torches on top of the
rocks around the island to make it easier to be seen from a distance...
