[SOLVED] Multi-gpu issues.

Hello, my new build is giving me trouble.

I have:
Motherboard: Asus B450-f
Processor: Ryzen 5 3600
Cooler: Hyper 212 rgb black
PSU: 650watt
Primary gpu: and r7 260x
Secondary gpus: r5 220, hd6450

When I use any 2 graphics cards in any 2 slots it all works fine. When I add the 3rd card I get random colors and boxes while trying to boot. I had this working previously with all 3 cards. The only thing I have changed is moving from stock cooler to the hyper 212.

Is my psu not enough for all 3 cards and the cooler? Any advice will be appreciated. Also I'm going to try adding a couple pictures of what the screen does.

Whats the use case of 3 GPUs in 1 system?

Whats the brand and model of the PSU?

The use case is multiple monitors. Currently 7.

The PSU is powerspec.

Ok makes sense, Does the coloring happen on all the GPUs or only 1 in particular?

PSU is junk quality, may be the issue but may not.

Only visible on whichever card is in primary slot.

Hmm so that PSU is definitely suspicious, and a power issue would make sense, though that kind of behavior is rare. IMO replace the PSU either way, you don't need more wattage, just better quality.

On top of the setup mentioned above I have 4 hdds and 4 case fans.

650 would be good, At a minimum a Corsair CX 650. Preferably a Corsair RM 650, or Seasonic Focus Gold 650

So, I feel stupid. After resetting cmos by removing battery instead of just load optimized defaults it started working. Thanks for all your help though! I really appreciate the time you took to help me figure this out.
