I have ASUS K46CM, inside it, it has two GPU, Intel HD 4000, and GeForce GT635M. I wonder, is it called as Multi-GPU? If yes, how I could use it effectively to increase my performance gaming? If no, so what it's called? Thanks ^^

Solution
How it works is buy when you are not doing GPU intense tasks like browsing the web lets say it will use the Intel graphics to save power and help with battery life but once you start doing something GPU intense like playing games it uses the NVidia chip and if it used the NVidia chip all the time the battery life would not be half as good as it is on normal tasks that's why older laptops with the only GPU is the NVidia chip the battery life would be horrid like my old HP pavilion DV7 with a Radeon 5650 and the battery life from new was bad and my new laptop with the dual graphics (Intel 4600 and 740m) the battery life is 4+ hours on the internet

Solution
from what I understand, the HD4000 is mated to the mainboard and the 635M is in a slot that you can remove it from and upgrade - exactly how it operates I'm not sure, but I highly doubt they switch back and forth like ^^^ mentions depending on the workload

Thanks for ur answer, I've doubt it for about 1 month XD I picked it as solution
