Question Multi GPU rendering

hello i asked this question before about using 2 different cards as sli but not 100% sli but there is a similar way like the one in Ashes of singularity where it uses 2 different GPU so i got 1080ti and RTX 2080ti and i want know is there any other games that uses the same technology as ashes of singularity or does it just need DX12 because battlefield V has DX12 so would it work on it too?

IIRC it is something that needs to be coded for by the developers and is not just an "automatic" function.
