Multi-monitor background .

Hey guys,

Running a dual monitor set-up with Windows 10 and wanted to know if its still possible to have a different background/wallpaper for each monitor?

A quick google search seemed to suggest it was possible, but both of the methods (running a command prompt to access the old personalization UI, and CTRL+clicking two images) I found do not work.

Anyone have any info?

The way I do it is to create a single image, the size of both monitors added.

If your screens are 1920x1080, create 2 images of 1920x1080.

Then paste those 2 halves into a single image of 3840 x 1080. The split will be exactly in the middle.

My issue is Im running a 27" 1440p ( Predator XB270UH) and a cheap 21" 1080p monitor as a secondary

And I've done it with monitors of two different resolutions.
Monitor A width + Monitor B width x tallest monitor height.

You can do it natively in Windows 10, but has a bad habit of randomly reverting back to displaying a single image on all screens. Basically I'm saying Win10's support of multiple monitors is ass. I'm going back to using DisplayFusion until Microsoft pulls it's head out of its booty.
