Hi all

Recently I read the article on the Budget Multi Monitor Gaming using the Gigabyte 750 Ti Windforce edition. I ordered the EVGA 750 Ti FTW edition recently and was wondering how that would go in different circumstances to the article.

I am a keen player of Battlefield 4 and recently learnt there is a battlescreen. I was wondering if I would be able to play on my core monitor that is 1920 x 1080 using HDMI and run the battlescreen on a second monitor using the DVI. I believe the resolution of the second monitor is around the 1680 x 1050 area. I am hoping to play on medium settings.

Thanks

Maybe TheTechDude didn't read Tom's Multi Monitor Review with 750Ti

The 750Ti can play BF4 in Low settings @ 5760x1080p with average fps in the 40's.

The OP is only trying to run a 2nd monitor on top of a 1920x1080p primary gaming monitor. The 750Ti should have no problem with that at all.

What you are trying should be within the 750 Ti's abilities. I was able to do this with a GTX 560 Ti and the 750 Ti is a better GPU.

First of all, DVI is much better than HDMI in terms of Gaming Experience, and you would have to play on low settings because:

GTX 750TI only have 2 GB of GDDR5 RAM
It is NOT a strong Card.

Sorry bud.
