Hi all,
I've been a bit confused by multimonitor support on the new AMD GPUs. I've got a 6870 which has 2 DVI ports, 2 Mini Display Ports, and a HDMI port.
My curent setup at home is two 24" monitors both with DVI ports and a TV with HDMI port. I would like to connect them so I can use multimonitor support simulatenously and not have to turn them on and off and the same time.
I'm probably wrong about here but from what I've read I can't have Two DVI's and a HDMI plugged in at once if you're taking up both the single and dual link channels. So I tried plugging in the DVI port into the mini display port using a mDP-to-DVI adapter and having the top DVI port in and HDMI as well, still no joy.
Is it possible using some other combination I can connect these monitors up?
Thanks in advance for replies and support.
