I'm trying to run 3 different displays so that they can all be extended. I have a Sapphire 6870 One monitor hooked up through HDMI another through DVI and the one im tyring to add through VGA with a DVI-VGA adapter I've had 2 for the longest time just got my hands on a third monitor from my mom wanted to add it on. When I trying to add the third display it reads it's there but when I click apply it says "Unable to save Display Settings". Tried Using ACCC did a similar thing any help would be appreciated.

Solution
There are only 2 total clocks for the DVI, VGA, and HDMI signals. This means that with any combination of those connectors, you can only use 2 monitors tops. One or more monitors needs to be powered by display port.

Don't have a display port on your monitor or cable you say? Well fear not. You can buy an adapter. I bought a display port to VGA adapter for about $8 on eBay from China. MAKE SURE IT IS AN ACTIVE ADAPTER. Passive adapters do not convert properly and it will not work. If it does not say active, it isn't.

Look for "display port to VGA active adapter".
