Multifunction scanner not working

I have a CanonMG2120, multifunction scanner that has suddenly stopped working properly. It sounds as tho the canner is scanning, a window opens in my computer where it indicates it has scanned but when I try to print this it is blank. I can print something from other places, just not the scanned item.

Did you save the scan and the try to print it? If not, why are you even scanning then printing? That is called "copying" and you should be able to just hit the copy function on the printer to do that.
