I have recently started having issues with my Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard 1.0A. When I press the @ key I get " and vice versa, and when I press the pound sign key I get # (can't even get pound sign by pressing # key, it gives me \ instead).
This has only recently started happening since my system crashed and I had to install a new graphics card as well as XP again.
I have tried installing the driver from the installation disc but problem still remains.
Any suggestions other than buying a new keyboard?

the other poster was an advertiser.. i'm unsure of filehippo ... for drivers it is best to trust only the website of the manufacturer if you can help it. most keyboards will work without any driver installation (but special function keys will not work) that is why most keyboards come with a driver cd.

would you happen to be living in england where the pound key refers to the british currency unit? here in america # is the pound key.

if so, make sure that under language and keyboards that your keyboard layout is set to the same as your keyboard (ie, if you have a UK keyboard use the english(UK) layout.
