Multiplayer bots

I was wondering if its possible to setup BF42 to run a multiplayer game,
with players on one team, while the other side is just bots. A few of my
mates have BF42 and wanted to practice tactics. Obviously bots themselves
don't offer much of a challenge, and aren't much use beyond target
practice, but we figured it would help trying to work out teamplay.

In the coop-setup page 2, you can set allied vs axis ratio. Don't think you can
have ALL the bots on the same team, but one side can be all bots.

Hehe, reminds me of the time we ran the LD_Omaha map with 64 players and
a 2:1 ratio axis to allied. Now that was a hoot. About 10 AGB members
and 10 or so allied bots against 40+ Axis bots. We had them down to one
spawn point, but just couldn't take it, bots might not be the best of
players but with 40+ of them spawning at the same flag it was total
mayhem...

Anyway, some good co-op maps here:

The Aberdeen bot addon is good if you want practice in a tank.

Two questions in one week, and both are RTFM questions. Not doing so well
am I :)

Only had the game a few days, and didn't even realise what co-op was. The
only problem I really have with the bots is the overwhelming numbers of
rocket launchers. Pushing off the beach, I came across 15 bots laid out in
a neat square just firing bazooka's five miles past the german spawn point.

They had choir practice, and no one bothered to tell you?

Your off-key singing finally got too much for them :)

hello Villy
can we run COOP Aftermath maps to fill up the slots Sunday!
the AI-Bots fly those Card Boxes rather well.
cant say the same for the Jetpacks tho, outer space time.
regards [AGB] malcolm

PS; its a shame that the Aftermath mod, doesnt have the nukes of the
Action Battlefield mod, those nuclear Det Packs would make short work of
Bots....... 😀
