Multiplayer gaming crashing

When trying to play multiplayer on minecraft it seems that after a couple of seconds to a min that all the players freeze. Of course i thought this was because of my internet but speedtest says im getting amazing speeds with low ping. I then called my isp to see if we were having problems but none were detected. I have other friends with my isp who are playing the game totally fine with no game freezing. Btw i am on wireless. What could be the problem?

The game might not be getting enough memory. Does it say Minecraft is crashing?
