Can you play w/ a friend on-line against computer controled civs?

If not, is there a mod that lets you do this? It would be a lot of fun...

A second question is, can you "Save" a multi-player game?

Each online player has control of 1 civ. The computer controls the rest.

MP games may be saved. They must be loaded during the MP setup.

So I setup a multi player Internet game and choose like 8 civs... then if I
start the game w/ less than 8 players the rest of the civs will be there but
will be computer controlled?
