I had system crash a few days ago , so I started to re-install windows 7 and this is what I got in partition screen :-
Disk 0 unallocated space : 0mb
Disk 0 partition 1 system reserved : 100 mb
Disk 0 partition 2: 45.7 gb
Disk 0 unallocated space: 0mb
Disk 0 partition 3 : 420.1 gb
Disk 0 unallocated space: 0mb
Disk 1 partition 1: 698 gb

I tried to merge these unallocated spaces by booting from DLC boot cd and using every single HDD Management software but they just keep coming back
Checked my HDD for bad sectors , nothing found
checked my HDD health : 100%

so , any ideas, guys ?
Thank you in advance

Hi there yasserBasha,

If we assume that both drives are healthy, the I would say that this is a really strange issue indeed.
I believe you have no important data stored on the drive as you've just reinstalled Windows.

My suggestion would be to take your secondary drive out of the system and use some bootable tool that can write zeros on your OS drive. After that, you can perform a clean install.
It may be a good idea to use different cables and a different SATA port.

Hope this will help,

I think that partitions are created automatically by Windows installation, usually they are just a few kilobytes (not megabytes)
I have it on my HDD too after installing Windows :)
If your computer have no problem, you should not mess up with the partitions btw 😛
