Hello, I've got a Lenovo y700 notebookIntel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHzNVIDIA GeForce GTX 960MIntel(R) HD Graphics 53016GB RAMWindows 11 23H2I started getting multiple BSODs after attempting to install Nvidia Game Ready drivers from the Geforce Experience app, I had to disable the Nvidia device to be able to use the computer because otherwise it would crash almost inmediately or while booting. I tried using DDU to uninstall the drivers and then installing both drivers from the Nvidia page that work for my card and also from Lenovo support page. Both get crashes while being installed. I also tried installing the drivers that already built in the computer and that causes a crash too. Here are the dumpfiles: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/sjxbg0h2akoha/Dump+FilesI dont really know what to do now and I dont know much about computers. Sending it to a PC shop its sort of a last resort, the place where I live gets dusty fast and maybe dust is getting in the way of the hardware??? Since I got this issue after attempting to update the drivers I would assume its more of a driver issue. Any help thanked.

1. How old is the laptop?
2. Have you had it working fine at anytime with previous drivers installed, without it crashing?
I'm not so sure about how old it is because I got it from a cousin, I assume its 6/7 years old.
Yeah it worked perfectly before with no issues, the BSODs started in the middle of a driver update.

It may be bios settings due to age ??

Is a bios update available for the laptop?

Can you restore windows back to a point before the driver update?

Or alternatively, install older drivers that do work with that system.

Could you explain the BIOS part for me? How do I check for an update for the bios?

I restored windows completely, uninstalled drivers and tried several other driver versions but none of them work sadly. I obviously checked they were the correct ones for my GPU and system.

The bios is updated with a small coded file to update, enhance/add new features and fix bugs and glitches that were in the previous version for the motherboard.
You need to go to the manufacturers website support section to get the bios file downloaded and it should explain how to update it. Be careful when updating (exactly per onstructions) as if done wrong can render the motherboard useless.

Seems very weird that rolling back system and/or drivers did not work, since the problem started from driver update in the first place.

You could try these lenovo websites for help updating drivers...check if model is correct !!
