My old mobo went out on me, so I decided now was as good a time as any to upgrade. I built my new PC and installed Win10, which ran fine for 2-3 days but has now started giving me BSOD constantly. As of this evening, it BSODs almost every time it tries to boot, but then restarts and sometimes can reboot successfully. The kicker is each BSOD error message is different. So far I've gotten:

  • SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I've reinstalled Win10 and am running chkdsk now to see if its an issue with the SSD. Any ideas on what the issue might be here?

Build:

  • Mobo: MSI B450 Tomahawk
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
    RAM: GSKILL Ripjaws DDR4-2400 (4x8GB)
    Power Supply: EVGA 650 B3
Video (from the old PC): MSI GeForce GTX 960 2gd5toc
SSD (from the old PC): Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
