Multiple BSOD in Windows 7

I built this computer over a month ago and everything was working great.

About a week ago, I got my first BSOD. It was STOP 0x0000000A or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

I have used Astra32, Hardinfo, SiSoftware Sandra, BurnInTest, Everest, SeaTools, and Windows Memory Diagnostic. None of have them come up with any hardware issues at all.

I have reset CMOS a couple times, did complete systems restore about 5 times now, but I am still getting BSODs. In addition to the one I mentioned, I have also received: STOP 0x00000050 or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and BIOS is not fully ACPI compliant. They've showed up at random times. During installation of windows, during Avast! doing a scan, playing music in MediaMonkey, etc...

Since my last restore (this morning), it has not Blue Screened me, but it has frozen on me twice during diagnostic testing. The most recent time, my PC wouldn't turn back on for about 5 minutes. I thought that may mean this was because of overheating, but I've been monitoring the temp the whole time and it's never gone over 45 degrees.

I have gone into my device manager and there don't appear to be any driver issues. I have made sure everything is up to date. I am STUMPED! I figured that since it has been working for a month without problems, setting everything back to the way I first did would solve the problem, but that just doesn't seem to be the case.

I think it'd be the RAM problem. I had a desktop computer that had frequent BSOD's and sudden freezing. So I reinstalled, but it still freezes up randomly, so we had the RAM swapped out and the memory remap turned off. That was only when the desktop stopped freezing

Well, so far I'm on day 3 of no blue screens. Not sure if I did anything differently in this last restore. I'm adding updates and programs slowly to see if the problem comes back. If it does, I'll try that hotfix. Hopefully it won't come to that. If it does, I'll be back! :-/

soo.... everything was going well for a few days. All I was doing was doing Windows updates each day, using WinMediaPlayer, and Internet Explorer.

Today I decided to turn on the Smart Fan. Upon exiting BIOS, the computer did not reboot, so I had to power it on manually. It started fine. I then transferred music files from an external HD to the computer and tried playing them. After about 45 seconds, the computer froze. It wouldn't start up right away. I had to wait about 3 minutes or so. I decided to go back into BIOS and disable the Smart fan. It rebooted fine until it asked me if I wanted to enter in safe mode or normal. I chose normal. Then it froze. I had to wait another 3 minutes or so before it would let me power up the computer again, but again it froze during start-up.

I reset CMOS (again) and did a quick startup repair and now windows started up fine. Can turning on smart fan really do this? will that hotfix above fix this problem??

Turning off memory remapping seemed to let me use the smart fan, but I wasn't digging the idea of losing a GB of memory... soo... I tried the smart fan again with memory remapping enabled.

It didn't work... As soon as the computer rebooted it gave a new BSOD
STOP 0x00000024

I reset the CMOS using the jumpers again... at this moment (10 minutes later), I can't get anything to come up on the computer. I turn the power on and it sounds like its on, but screen just stays black....

I wish I knew what to do because this is just super frustrating...

Assuming I can get into this thing eventually, would flashing my BIOS help? Anything?

I appreciate your help, but could you tell me what you think the problem is? Motherboard? RAM? Something else? If it is the mobo, do you think flashing the BIOS could help?

Ideally I'd like to use all 4gb of my RAM, as opposed to 2 or 3.

Solution
After updating my BIOS and it not working, I decided to take out a stick of RAM and everything seems to be working even with the Smart Fan and Memory Remapping enabled.

It is just so irritating because both sticks of RAM work individually, just not together... which is weird because they worked fine together for over a month. I contacted Crucial, hopefully they'll swap me new sticks, I can sell those sticks, and then I'll just buy a single 4gb stick of RAM.

my comp was doing a similar problem . i built a new comp and even with new drivers i still had a problem until may 9th when amd came out with a new catalyst upgrade for my hd 6950 graphics card.6 days now and no crashes or freezes and no bsod which has happened 132 times since i built it in jan 2011
