I just built a new computer the past week and have been running in to the issue receiving multiple BSODs (all the same error codes) when running games like DragonAge:Inquisition as well as having some seriously severe graphic glitches when playing World of Tanks. I've uninstalled/reinstalled my drivers multiple times but nothing has worked. Any help is appreciated.
System:
OS: Windows 7 Premium
CPU: Intel i7 5820K @3.30 GHz
Mobo: Asus Rampage V Extreme
RAM: Corsair 16GB 4 x 4GB DDR4-2800
GPUs: SLI EVGA Nvidia 970
PSU: Corsair 850RM

The system isn't over heating as the CPU sits comfortably at 37-40 degrees, and GPU barely passes 79 degrees.

Solution
Have you tested it with only 1 card in? Try that with both of the cards to see if the issue is persistent with both, only 1, or only when they are both plugged in.

Ok try running both cards in there own and see if you still if it is still happening.
This will confirm if you may have a dodgy card.
If both work on there own place your secondary as your main.

Are you overclocking your gpu's?

Also keep the gpu's in stock speed. if you are overclocking them you may not have done it correctly. 2 gtx970 in sli will run the same if not slightly better as a single R9 295X no need to overclocking.

So I just got done with playing for a while with the TOP GPU plugged in the PCI-16 slot and the second GPU out of the mobo. No crashes.

Method of thinking is that the second GPU is defective, or that the SLI (Enabled and even Disabled) is causing driver issues.

Any other thoughts?

Continue testing. Pull the one that works and test the other.

Card 2 just BSOD'd, attempting the same screen with Card 1

The BSOD was also a "new" one and came up with no google result when attempting the search. Related BSOD'd show a Driver Timeout Failure.

I just finished uninstalling the drivers, and reinstalling them again. I also increased the decreased the idle temp for the fan to spin as well as increased the speeds for when the GPUs come under load, also increased the GPU temp throttling speed to see if that had an impact on the BSOD'd. Running the test now.

Running Speccy on the second monitor to watch Temps, at start the motherboard is at 26, CPU is 30.8, GPU1 is 31, and GPU2 is at 26.

Okay, Been playing for about an hour now. No BSOD. I think the main issue was that I was using stock settings on the GPUs. They were set to throttle themselves past 80c to decrease temperatures. I think this caused the BSOD because of the Timeout Error Code. Another thing, since I increased the fans to be more aggressive, the temps of the GPUS has never passed 60c, meaning the throttling setting was never used. The machine is much much noisier now, but I will definitely trade that over BSOD's when the game starts going.
