Question Multiple Display Different Resolutions and Windowed Full Screen

Hello, please go easy on me. This might have been answered before but i couldn't find it on the net as the keywords are multiple. I've recently purchased a monitor with 2560x1440 resolution and my older monitor has 1920x1080 native resolution. So I have 2 monitors now. I've noticed something weird playing games. I can't set the resolution to 2560x1440 with Windowed Borderless setting in games. It only allows my older monitor's resolution. Is there a way to bypass this? Is this a game specific thing? It happens in Horizon Zero Dawn and FF Online 14

I would imagine that it is the game that determines what settings are permitted.
I would assume that the 2560 x 1440 monitor is designated as the primary monitor.
That is where games will be started.
