Multiple displays.. how to make them work in a game

Hi all
I just received my 2nd screen and finished installing it
I have set the extended display and i like it but wanna play games on both of these monitors
When i start assasins creed, only 1 monitor displays the game, other goes blank.
What to do and to go about it??

I have the R9 270 Twin frozr Oc edition by MSI running stock
4690k stock
8gb corsair ram

Followed these steps but now its just working as a DUPLICATE monitor
Not as what i want: EXTENDED DISPLAY
