I recently went in my task manager to close a program that crashed and saw over 9 explorer.exe processes up and my cpu is at %90 usage. How can i make it so that only one explorer.exe is open at all times.

Solution
There should be only one explorer.exe running. Maybe you mean iexplorer which is Internet Explorer. That opens up that process for each tab you have open. Otherwise you may have a virus or spyware on the system, I'd run a full scan with Malwarebytes.

Right click on each of them in task manager and click "Open file location", if it's in any directory other than C:\windows then it's bogus
