Question Multiple extension changer/

Hello. My PC got hacked by a program and put a txt saying that they encrypted my files and i need to pay 900$ to de-encrypt them, but what that program did was to change the extension of my files to .hese (pics, audio, program files, game files) . The old extension is still in the file name, they just added .hese at the end. Can you tell me a program that allows me to delete the .hese from the name of the files? I tried the Bulk Extension Changer but its very tricky when i have to do this to pics, audio, program files, game files and i'll take a lot of time even with this program. Pls help

are you sure they didn't encrypted it?
change one manually and see if it still open

I did with a song originaly mp3, is not encrypted just changed the extension

can write a script. just match end of the filename+ext and rename
