Multiple failures on my notebook

Asus notebook, model s301a. I had a blue screen couple of times yesterday and finally got stuck in bios. Hdd was not found, but I tried to restore Windows anyway. After swithing the computer on and off like crazy, the screen went black and now the laptop turns on by itself after it is plugged in and I cannot switch it off. I mean, I can, but only when it's not plugged in. It seems that it's almost dead. And yes, I installed Windows 10 about 2 weeks ago. Any help? Thanks.

Where you power cycling the system "like crazy" or was the system doing that on it's own?
Try reseating the hard drive and go into the BIOS and see if it detects the drive.

If it sees the hard drive, unplug the system from wall power, remove the battery and hold in the power button for 30 seconds. See if that will make it turn on OK after that.
