I have bought a new case, and rgb fans, and I don't know how I didn't realize, but I only have one fan header on my motherboard, and 4 fans in my case. I don't have room for a fan controller that goes in the optical drive spot. I heard the fan splitters always pump out 12 volts to your fans and they are really loud, what do I do?

Solution
Keep in mind: for the old MB the fan_header can only out put 1Amp (12W), if the 4 fans can draw more than 1Amp, you will get trouble. But some of newer MB can output more than 1Amp. Also all the fans will run at the full speed when you used the splitter cable, that is why they are really loud.

You may try to buy the fans hub, like SilverStone PWM Fan Hub https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-System-Cables-Black-CPF04/dp/B00VNW556I or Phanteks PWM Fan Hub Controller https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-PWM-Fan-Controller-PH-PWHUB_01/dp/B00M0R05WE or NZXT brand, etc.

Solution

I don't want to have the fans at full speed all of the time though
