So every once in a while my computer locks up and freezes. No BSOD or anything significant error messages in the event viewer besides "the last system shutdown was unexpected", which happens when I restart my computer after it freezes since I can't do anything. This first happened when I was watching twitch.tv, but sometimes does it when I'm watching youtube videos. I have watched livestreams on youtube daily for 5+ hours a day without a freeze and hours of youtube videos a day as well, so it doesn't always happen during this.
However, it has also happened when I was trying to back-up my OS onto my hard drive since I was thinking of installing a larger SSD. After it did that I went into eventviewer for about 15-20 mins and it happened again, then after that it happened 3 days later (today).
Also I haven't been able to udpate my windows for about a month now, the download keeps failing everyday Windows update: KB3176936.
It has never happened when I was playing a game or anything.

What I've tried:
I'm not overclocking anything.
Memtest (Used the windows one I got to 99% then my computer restarted, not sure if it finished to 100%, but at 99% there was no errors and nothing popped up when my computer restarted saying that there was errors)
updating GPU drivers
attempted sfc scannow, but it says "windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation"
Attempted to reinstall windows 10, but I don't have a disk and when I tried in the computer troubleshooting screen it says it failed and restored to previous.
I have been monitoring my temps and they are all fine.
Also Reset my ram, changing which ones they are plugged into. from a1,a2 to b1,b2 (I just did this and I don't know for sure if it fixed it. cant' test it really since it freezes at random.) - this didn't fix it just froze.

and APPID

so seems now I freeze the most when tabbing out of League of Legends while in game now (I play in borderless, also known as windowed fullscreen so it isn't a full alt tab just swicting screens over). Also doesn't happen every time so it is hard to re create it, over the last 10 days I have been playing and tabbing out at least 5 times each game, and tab back in with no issues. But today it froze or locked up on me when I did it on my last game during the last minute of the game.
