I just built my first computer and I have a question. When I was installing windows I could choose between my SSD or HDD. I chose my SSD. Once I installed all drivers and other programs I relized that my 500GB HDD was not showing up on my computer. Is there something I need to download. How do I format it so Both with work?

Solution
See if the drive shows up in Disk Management:

- Click the Start button, right click Computer, left click Manage
- Double-click Storage then Disk Management
- If your HDD shows up in the lower section but not the top, right-click it and there should be an option to create a new volume or similar.

Hope that helps.

Solution
You might not see it in Windows Explorer or under My Computer.

In disk management, you should see it. It will show up under your SSD as 'Not Initialized'. Right-click the disk and choose 'Initialize Disk'. Then select master boot record (MBR) and 'basic disk' (if presented with the options).

Thanks for the tutorial. I got it formatted and it's saving data now.
