multiple internal HDD help

hello ,
i currently have a 500gb wd green and need more space . i wanna buy wd blue 1tb .. will they work together or do i have to get same 1tb green HDD for them to work together ?

If you want to put them in raid, then yes. If you want to just have separate hard-drives within windows, then no, you can have as big or small HDD as you desire.
