So, just out of the blue, out of nowhere, this problem started to occur. This only happens in minecraft too, I try and press space bar to jump, X to sprint, and w to move forward, and when I try to do this, only 1-2 of my key presses will register, for example sometimes I will start moving forward and be jumping, but my key press on X will not register and I wont sprint. I varies randomly, I sometimes will be moving forward and sprinting, but despite holding the spacebar, I wont be jumping. What would also happen is I would hit a key, say space, and it would not register the first key press, but if I pressed it again almost immediately, it would work. I am using a Razer Blackwidow Chroma, and I already tried uninstalled razer synapse and reinstalling it. Did not work. I tried on another keyboard, and ran into the same issue, so this ruled out it being the keyboard's fault. I've uninstalled Minecraft completely, and reinstalled it, no luck, I uninstalled and reinstalled java, no luck. The weird thing is that this only happens in Minecraft. For example if I go into a text document, I can spam all the buttons I want, including space, and they all register. I feel like I've tried everything, I'm so angry <<Edited by moderator for inappropriate content. Watch the language please.>> and frustrated at this point I'm thinking about reinstalling windows. I don't <<edited>> understand why out of the blue, my key presses are not registering/being insanely unresponsive.

EDIT: I was also experiencing input lag at times, I would hit a button, and there would be about a half a second delay before it registered in game. Again, this only happens in minecraft. I just played CS:Go for about 45 minutes and did not experience any problems.

EDIT 2: Something else I forgot to mention, at one point, when

Solution
So I did some research, I figured out a solution. As someone mentioned here the issue is an old version of LWJDL(keyboard/mouse/audio etc input for java). This was a known issue with older version.

You need to update the version, so download version 1.8.9. The game launcher will install LWJDL 2.9.4 nightly into C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\libraries\org\lwjgl\lwjgl - There are three folders there: lwjgl, lwjgl_util, and lwjgl-platform. Go into each folder, go to the 2.9.1 folder, copy the names that are on the files, go into 2.9.4 and rename those files exactly as how they are in 2.9.1(both the .jar and the jar.sha) , copy the renamed files into 2.9.1 folder, over-writing the existing.

You're renaming the 2.9.4...
I also have this issue. For me sometimes my keys just dont register or something. Im also thinking about reinstalling my windows to fix this. its so annoying :/ its not java because i have reinstalled and updates and downgraded and everything. Apparantly its LWJGL

Sorry to hear you're still experiencing the issue, it stopped for me, I didn't even do anything, it just stopped doing it. Hope you fix it :/

Wow lucky you. This is killing me. It stopped happening for me in 1.8.6 and above, but everything under that is still like this. including all modpacks which i want to play :S

You're renaming the 2.9.4 version as 2.9.1 basically. Just to reiterate the importance of this part, make sure to rename BOTH .jar and .jar.sha or the game launcher will re-download the 2.9.1 version.

Once you do that for all three folders, start your 1.8 modded game, it will load 2.9.4 nightly thinking its 2.9.1. This worked 100% for me, no more issue. Hope this helps :)

Solution

Wow thanks a lot, if I ever run into this issue again, I will go back to this post. I chose your response as the answer, thanks a lot! Your solution makes sense because I had updates Java and restarted mc before my issue was fixed, so the lwjdl may have updated when I did that.

No problem, hopefully YourNightmar3 sees my update. Also, that's weird how it got fixed like that, I uninstalled/reinstalled java several times, it never updated or changed the LWJDL within the minecraft roaming folder. The minecraft launcher was what changed/downloaded the files. Glad its working for you now though, this problem drove me nuts for months.

Sorry for not answering before, i was on vacation 😛😛.

So i tried your solution Pluviophiliac, and with minecraft itself it works. so thanks a lot!! Im super happy with that 😀😀😀
With modpacks it unfortionately doesnt work, because even if you trick the modpack into thinking it has the old version so it wont download its own version again, for me it still does so. (technic launcher). so everytime i launch a modpack it downloads the older version of LWJGL which the issue is on. I thought about denying access of technic launcher to the internet with a firewall so it cant download the old file again but that would be a lot of work if you wanna update, or just download another modpack so that is an option but i'd rather not do that. Do you know anything else i can try by any chance?
