I recently upgraded to a 2560x1440 monitor and was previously using an EVGA GeForce GTX 670 SuperClocked 4096MB GDDR5, (04G-P4-2673-KR)

Using Dual Monitors I would use the main display to game at QHD and the offscreen would run 1080 and be used for tabbing out and/or having twitch on in the background.

The 670 was struggling to perform high FPS with the 1440 resolution so I upgraded to an ASUS ROG Matrix 780TI (MATRIX-GTX780TI-P-3GD5)

The issue im running into is with the 670 I never had a problem with the offscreen running twitch or anything else but with the 780 TI I am getting great frames on the main screen but if I even think about opening up twitch on the second monitor my frames go down more than half. The second I close the browser this problem stops.

I am not sure what the culprit is as the new card is more powerful than my previous one, someone suggested running the Nvidia Settings in Single Display performance mode but that did not fix the issue.

A colleague suggest that my 750W power supply with a single rail may not be enough what are your thoughts?
