Hello all,

Here is the situation. I recently bought a LG 29" Class 21:9 UltraWide® Full HD IPS. This monitor can support 2560 x 1080. My old monitor is a no-name led tv that can support 1920x1080.

I have a Nvidia GTX 760. The primary monitor is in the HDMI port, while secondary is in Display port (via hdmi to display port connector).

Now the best display I can get for both via windows is 1920x1080. How can I have my primary display at the 2560x1080 it supports and have a second monitor at a smaller resolution in Windows 10?

Solution
I have a GTX770 running a 24" 1920x1080 over HDMI and a 27" 2560x1440 over DP. The NVidia hardware recognized both at their native settings and I have no issues. I did make sure both are synced at 60hz, however.

You should be able to configure them in the display settings. Right-click on your desktop and select 'display settings' and then by clicking on each monitor, you should be able to configure them independently.
