I recently set up Virtual Router so that I can use a wifi USB dongle to extend the range of my internet connection out of the house. I was able to get it to run fine, then suddenly I began to get IP conflict errors when starting VR -
A LAN connection is already configured with the IP address that is required for automatic IP addressing

I'm running a dlink dir600 router from the broadband modem and have 1 wired PC connection, 1 wifi laptop and 2 phones through the router. I have also changed the firmware on the router to DD-WRT in case that the firmware was causing the issue, but this has not helped that I can see.

A complete hard reset of the router did solve it temporarily, however the IP conflict returned and I've since not been able to get past it successfully.

The wifi dongle is a tp-link wn722n, but I have a dlink 125a that I have tried as well.

A copy of the ipconfig output is below with just the wired connection active.

Any help muchly appreciated, it's starting to drive me mad!

Steve

Why would it suddenly cause a conflict when it was running fine before?

I've done that and accepted the popup about multiple gateways, but now come up against an oplock 0x800202FD when starting VR which appears to be a firewall block. Further searching doesn't find me any answers elsewhere on how to deal with it.
